Metaphors

This week we did some work on Metaphors We all had to chooses a picture and write three Metaphors. Here is mine:

Simile	The horses tails and manes are as long as a ladder.
Metaphor	The horses tails and manes are a ladder.
Simile	The horses are like racing cheetahs.
Metaphor	The horses are racing cheetahs.
Simile	The horses are taller than a dog
Metaphor	The horses are tall dogs.

Last week we did an art activity with the theme shadows.We made a picture of ourselves and had to cut it out with black paper behind it to make a shadow. Here is my work:
